Yesterday?

Yesterday had Soka's 1st band concert of the year " Symphony of Joy 2006 " and it was excellent man! What I mean is really excellent! I woke up at 10+ then we went soka hq at around 2++ and the black pants and shirt was really cool man when I wore it at late afternoon. We had 2 rehearsals and the soka members were doing the daimoku thingy while I went up and do my warm-ups and sit around hearing them doing the daimokou.

As it was getting evening, we had our dinner and we saw our HS ppl came!! Wee ppl like sueying,anchun,glenn,xinhong,shuanyong,weepeng and Mr Nizam! Wow thanks guy for coming u rock! Then faith go help me gel my hair until they all say i look so shuai hehe ^^.

Then the concert started and the YMD brass band went in first followed by the YMD koteikitai band and then when they were about to end, we were behind the stage hall and I was like grasping for hair haha then they told me to calm down dun be so stress then the bass trb guest player wei liat he teach me some relax methods and they work haha..

We went in and there was a short video intermission telling about the Soka thingy..When the video was over, we played Ride first and I got really nervous then i zhao sia at some notes like i suddenly forget how to read them but i tried to calm myself down and then we played Merry Widow. I couldnt play the cromatic parts and then i keep making my self worried cos my position not the same as other trombonists during some parts as i was playing wrongly then when it reached 7th nite of july ( my fav song ) , i got really excited and it was great playing it then we started to play Armenian Dances ( Part I )..Couldnt catch up the ending but I know i already tried my best as i practised the parts which i didnt noe how to play so well..Then the brass band and koteikitai joined us for the final Soka Gakkai song " Century Of Heroes " then we played the song 2 times and the arranger was the conductor for the song and after the thing ended, the ssa president gave our conductor Terence the award and every1 was like cheering lor..Then after that the guest players ( including me! ^_^ ) were given gifts for coming and then suddenly feel so sad haha like the whole thing ended and we practised so long for the concert...

Hmm anyway when we went back to keep our instruments, i keep stealing suky's "fake" rose haha then she keep chasing me then eddie suddenly remembered something,..Oh Oh! lol nvm hah then we left and ate at the coffee shop and we ate seafood and anyway , must say thanks to faith's parents as they were ones who treated us! Thanks! Haha anyway we left at 10+ and thats all.

Tiring day...

Woke up today at 7.30am and need to go for SWE prac and i didnt bring the school trb home lol...Met with fongyee and peijun at the bus stop and the rest didnt come cos xinhong mum dun allow and faith got dunno wat band meeting..

Went for SWE prac and i had to use bass trombone-_-" cos got no spare tenor trb...Lol the bass trombone damn tiring i use the school trombone can hold 3 bars the bass trombone only hold 1 bar and my sound very soft...but then can play very low la but my highest note when i use bass trb is only high f but not everytime can lor cos very hard...

haha left at 2++ after moving the instruments down to the instruments mover lorry and went to jurongpoint to eat onceee again...ate the same thing for 3 weeks ( stingray fish with rice ) and now i finally got sick of it.

nothing much to comment on today but i wanted to buy a game call half-life 2 and i went amk and compass point then all the shops all say no stock..well i guess no stock cos the game 1 year liao but very nice the game...ok nothing more to comment and Happy Belated New Year ! School starts 2moro! ^^

Rain rawks^^...

Yo guys, haha today got alot free time so I post again^_^. Woke up at 6 and I had to arrive in school at 7 cos Faith want to do my hair -_-". I went there 15mins early I think and the security guards havent even arrive yet when I reached there. The canteen lights were not even opened and I waited like around 10 mins and I saw shaunyong come liao and I was practising my arpegios and scales during the 10 mins as I scared i fail test. Faith was late again!! >.<>

Jet Skies.

Me long time no post liao haha^^. So finally, after some reminders from Fong Yee, haha decided to change blog skin as the image even gone liao and my blog dusty dusty need some cleaning hehe. Woke up at 8:15 today and met fong yee , peijun, xinhong at the bus stop as were going SWE. We reached at the mrt and i forgot who but someone called faith then she said she just woke up. LOL we reach MRT liao she just woke up -_-" haha then we told faith after the 3rd mrt come and u haven reach yet, we go liao. Faith did not arrive in time and we went without her.

When we reached there, conductor there liao -.-" but then no scolding la heng sia. then we play Seventh Night Of July and Merry Widow. i liked the ending part of the merry widow as i love to play the melody ^^. then we started to play 7th nite of july, things started to go wrong. alot parts were wrong and the conductor started to be frustrated and there was this part got 3rd , 2nd 1st trombone,trumpet,bass clarinet ,euphonium i dunno still got anot we alot ppl wrong. that part was very fast and the notes werent connected like arpechigos or scales it was just jumping from a flat to a sharp out of a sudden. that part the conductor got really angry i think could see his expressions. then blah blah blah the thing end liao the euphonium girl prepared chocolate cakes for us haha as x'mas present. suky a.k.a trombonist also bought sweets for us but i also never take both haha..

then we went to Jurong pt to eat at kopitiam again. i bought the same food BBQ stingray with rice haha as it was delicious but the staff change then she forgot to gave me a chilli which i wanted and we keep telling but she still dunno so no chilli :\. anyway enjoyed my meal and i went to buy another maple cash card also haha.hmm then we went to mrt faith give us each a bubblegum and then i keep trying to blow bubble lol but my bubble very small then cannot blow liao -_-". haha reach home at around 5 and end of story! :D

What a great day....

Today had music exchange with BNSS and Regent sec. Had to wake up at 6:15 as 7:15 need to reach school and was drizzling at the point when i was going to school.
We left the school at around 8+ and we reach there at 9. Regent sec the school outside looked like BNSS and i was confused at first lol thinking bnss was in choa chu kang, We went to the hall and it was crowded as there were 3 bands there and mr lim gave each band 15 minutes to do warm-ups by itself and regent got to start first followed by us and bnss. I was sitting on the table and I had to put my trombone on the chair and suddenly, my trombone move forward then i managed to prevent it from falling but my slide slided down then got one pomp sound :S. Was very paiseh during that time and regent played Merry Widow but in a slower tempo than the original version and alot parts cut away. We played procession of the sardar and BNSS played what movie blah blah... I forgot le but the song also not bad.

We had a break and this girl from BNSS said shamin was handsome lol all these haha cos i think he played the Etude 2 solo damn nice. Then we we sent to S11 with the other school trombone section and made friends with them. And this guy sitting beside me from regent ordered 2 cup of bandung lol..he drank the first cup in just a few seconds wow! Then after that, i go join sy, pj and inez then we walk back to the regent school.

After that, we were seperated with the band that was going to Hong Kong to perform and we went to this rifle range room and there was sooo many ppl in it lol. Then this conductor from Catholic High came and be our guest conductor and she was bravo! She teach us things the funny way and i loved it xD. Then after the whole thing ended, we went seperate ways again with brass - percussion and woodwind seperated.

We went to play captain ball with the other school at 4pm and I was in HS team B. We played the first match but we lost though our school Team A won xD. They almost beat the alumnis lol and at first, i tot the alumnis from our school help us de as the alumni from BNSS alot then they actually is alumni de :S. Then we left at 4:30pm and anchun was our DJ for the day again! aha then he got Joel to sing " Tian Kong " as he won in the dunno wat superstar thingy and we went to AMK and at first we wanted to go to seoul garden to eat but then too expensive le. Then we went to Breeks! instead to eat and i ate mushroom spaghetti. Then I went to go try out and eat the lemon LOL. Then I was like " omg the lemon damn sour!!! my mouth arggh" Then peijun go use her hp video cam me arghhh >.<>

Awesome...

Hey all again -last post long time ago =X- , haha today i was soo busy. Went to SWE at 8.30am and woke up at 7.15. Finally! Today i got trombone partners now haha if not i go there alone ago very scary lol..We played Armenian Dances ( Part I ) the whole day and we managed to complete it...

After the thing ended 1pm, i , fong yee, faith , xin hong , peijun , vanessa , one guy in clarinet , and 2 girls from clarinet i also dunno their name :S ( i apologise ), then we went seperate ways.. peijun,vanessa and the 2 girls went to mac and the rest of us went to kopitiam cos we were sick of fast food lol.. i see it until wanna vomit..i decided to go to the NIE concert at the last minute as xin hong mother didnt allow xh to go then i take her place lor..then when we ate finish, fy say she want to go repair specs and by then it was 3pm and the concert starts at 5pm and we had to rush back to kovan and take taxi back to singapore conference hall a.k.a sch..

At the concert there, the NIE band played familiar songs like alvamar overture , folk song suite 1 and armenian dances ( part II ).. they were fantastic and this guy beside me, who trained the drum majors who went to the NCO camp, was awesome lol..he was the one who made the whole crowed clapped and shouted Encore ! haha then the band had 2 encores and we also saw ni kee ( swe de ) in there haha...we went down to chat with her after the concert ended and we also saw Mr Nizam there oh yah i forgot. An chun and shaoming came in at the interval lol cos they dun wan pay for tickets and they succeeded lmao! End of story!

Rainy Day.....

Sry guys for not updating was busy playing games and lazy to update haha =P..Anyway, today we went to break what stupid record must pass one big cardboard that contains the word " Punggol North " then must pass thru 2000+ peeps in the shortest time lol and i remembered on our first try it was 18 or 19 mins++ then we also breaking other records like one person starts to raise the hand together with his partner ( hold together ) then they wanted a 3 mins record but we went like 6 mins lol ....

anyway, jump back to morning haha...i woke up at 9+ and i went to played rakion and then it was raining so heavily starting at 1+ and btw i bathe finished and i went down with my umbrella, the ground was like flooded and by the time i made it to the bus stop, my shoe was already so wet and i bet my socks will smell lol and the bus only came at 1.30pm+....well by the time i reached school, i tot my classmates still in hall then went up then only saw the sec 2s and then i went down again to find them inside the bus aldry....

Back to rivervale pri....at 5+, we started to have dinner provided by them and the nasi lemak was already cold by then and i was so hungry i ate 2 packets of nasi lemak and now i am feeling so full hahaa....then at 6+ , we were breaking the record by passing the cardboard thingy then lee hsien long came then i was like so excited lol i only saw him once in my real life ( excluding tv ) haha then everybody started to scream then after e whole thing was over, we watched a performance done by dunno wat guy ( i think it was a classical singer ) lol then he sang the song " sex bomb , sex bomb " so sexy lol then we watched a magic show but we left halfway cos the sbs bus aldry came to fetch us back to school and
thats e end of ma story~~
